EPIGRAPHIA INDICA 24th September A.D. 757 ; see Ind. Ant. Vol. XXIII. p. 113, No. 2. Kakkarâja [I.] ; his son Dhruvarâja ; his son Gôvindarâja, married a daughter of Nâgavarman ; their son Kakkarâja [II.].─ The grant mentions, as dûtaka, Âdityavarmarâja. 55.─ Ep. Ind. Prabhûtavarsha Vikramâvalôka, recording a grant made at the request of Vijayâditya Mâṇâvaḷôka Ratnavarsha (son of Dantivarman and grandson of Dhruvarâja) ; issued at the confluence of the rivers Kṛishṇaverṇâ and Musî :─ (L. 29).─shaṭchhatê dvinavaty-adhikê Śaka-varshê Saumya-saṁva[tsa]rê Âshâḍha-śukla- pakshê saptamyâṁ.[2] Gôvindarâja [I.] ; his son Kakkarâja [I.] ; his son Indrarâja [II.] ; his son Dantivarman [II.],[3] vanquished the Karṇâṭaka army which had defeated Harsha [of Kanauj], Vajraṭa and others ; and conquered Vallabha (i.e. the W. Chalukya Kîrtivarman II.) ; after him, Kakkarâja’s son Kṛishṇarâja [I.] Śubhatuṅga Akâlavarsha ; his son Gôvindarâja [II.] (defeated the lord of Vêṅgî). 57.─Ind. Ant.
