EPIGRAPHIA INDICA 117.─Ś. 672.─ Ep. Carn. Vol. VI. p. 151, No. 36, and Plates. Jâvaḷi (spurious ?) plates of the 25th year of the reign of the W. Gaṅga Śrîpurusha Pṛithivî-Koṅguṇi-mahârâja, issued from Maṇegrâma :─ (L. 35).─dvâsaptatyuttara-shaṭchhatêshu. Śaka-varshêshv=atîtêshv=âtmanaḥ=pravar- ddbamâna-vijayaiśvaryya-saṁvatsarê pañchaviṁśê varttamânê . . . . Vaiśâkha-śuklapaksha- daśamyâṁ Uttarâphalgunî-nakshatrê Sômavârê Vṛishabharâśi-saṁkrântyâm. Monday, 20th April A.D. 750. Genealogy as far as Śivamâra [I.] substantially as in No. 115 ; his son’s son Śrîpurusha Pṛithivî-Koṅguṇi-mahârâja. 118.─Ś. 684.─ Madras Jour. Lit. Śo. 1878, p. 138 ; Mysore Inscr. No. 152, p. 284. Hosûr (spurious[1]) plates of the W. Gaṅga Śripurusha Pṛithivî-Koṅgaṇi-mahârâja, issued from Mânyapura :─ Chaturaśîty-uttarêshu shaṭchhatêshu Śaka-varshêshu samatîtêshu . . . Vaiśâkha-mâśê sôma-grahaṇê Viśâkhâ-nakshatrê Śukravârê. For Ś. 684 current the date might perhaps correspond to Friday, 24th April A.D. 761, but there was no lunar eclipse on that day ; see Ind. Ant. Vol. XXIV. p. 11, No. 171. Genealogy as in No. 117.

Dêvarhaḷḷi, formerly known as Nâgamaṅgala (spurious[2]) plates[3] of the 50th year of the reign of the W. Gaṅga Mahârâjadhirâja Śripurusha Pṛithuvi-Koṅgaṇi-mahârâja, recording a grant made at Mânyapura, at the request of Paramagûḷa-Pṛithuvi-Nirgunda-râja (the son of Duṇḍu-Nirgunda-yuvarâja, of the Bâṇa family ?), in favour of a Jaina temple founded at Śrîpura by Pṛithuvi-Nirgunda-râja’s wife Kundâchchi, the daughter of Maruvarman of the Sagara family :─ (L. 41).─ashṭânavaty-uttarêsha [sha*]ṭchhatêshu Śaka-varshêshv=atîtêshv=âtmanaḥ pravarddhamâna-vijayaiśvaryya-saṁvatsarê pañchâśattamê pravarttamânê. Genealogy as in No. 117. The grant gives the line of Jaina teachers Chandraṇandin, his disciple Kumâraṇandin, his disciple Kîrtinandin, his disciple Vimalachandrâchârya. 120.─Ś. 261.─ Ind. Ant. Vol. XVIII. p. 311, and Plate. Kalbhâvi (spurious[4]) Sanskṛit and Kanarese Jaina inscription, recording the restoration, by the Gaṅga Mahâmaṇḍalêśvara Kambharasa,[5] ‘ lord of Kuvalâla,’ of a grant that had been made by the Gaṅga Mahâmaṇḍalêśvara Saigoṭṭa[6] Permânadi Śivamâra [II.], ‘ lord Kuvalâla,’ a feudatory of king Amôghavarsha, professedly on the date here given :─ (L. 14).─Śaka-varsha 261neya Vibhava-saṁvatsarada Paushya(sha)-bahula-chaturddaśî- Sômavâram=uttarâyaṇa-saṁkrântiy-aṁdu. The date is irregular ; see ibid. Vol. XXIV. p. 11, No. 168. The inscription mentions, in the Kâreya gâṇa and Mailâpa anvaya, Guṇakîrti, Nâgachandramunindra, Jinachandra, Śubhakîrti, and Dêvakîrti-guru. 121.─Ep. Carn. Vol. IV. p. 109, No. 60, and Plates. Gaḷigêkere (spurious[7]) Sanskṛit and Kanarese plates of the W. Gaṅga Raṇavikramayya. Genealogy as far as Bhûvikrama substantially as in No. 115 ; his . . . [8](?)
