EPIGRAPHIA INDICA Thursday, 24th December A.D. 1058 ; see Ind. Ant. Vol. XXIII. p. 115, No. 14. Jatiga [II.], the ornament of the Śiyaḷâra (Śilâhâra) family, born in the lineage of Jîmûtavâha (Jîmûtavâhana) ; his son Goṅka ; his younger brother Gûhala [I.] ; Goṅka’s son Mârasiṁha. 316.─ Ind. Herley Kanarese inscription of the Śilâhâra Gaṇḍarâditya, ruling at Vaḷavâḍa ; dated Śaka 1040, the Vilamba saṁvatsara, on the occasion of an eclipse of the moon. The eclipse probably is the one of Wednesday, 5th June A.D. 1118, the only lunar eclipse of Ś. 1040 that was visible in India. 319.─ Ś. 1058*.─ Graham’s Kolhapoor, p. 357, No. 3 ; Jour. Bo. As. Soc.
