458.─South-Ind. Inscr. Vol. I. No. 154. p. 167. Rock inscription at the fort of Gutti, of the time of king Bukka (perhaps Bukkarâya I.).

459.─Ś. 1278.─Ep. Ind. Vol. III. p. 24, and Plates. Biṭraguṇṭa[1] plates of Saṁgama II. (the verses were written on the plates by Bhôganâtha,[2] the narma-sachiva of Saṁgama IL):─

(L. 75).─Śak-âbdê nâga-śaila-dhyu(dyu)maṇi-parimitê 1278 Durmukh-âbdê tru(tṛi)- tîyyê(yê) mâsi . . . saṁgamê chaṁdra-bâ(bhâ)nvôḥ.

Saṁgama [I.] had five sons : Harihara [I.], Kampa (Kampaṇa I.), Bukka [I.], Mârapa, and Muddapa ; Kampa’s son Saṁgama [II.].

460.─Ś. 1286 (for 1287).─South-Ind. Inscr. Vol. I. Nos. 86 and 87, pp. 118 and 121. Two Conjeeveram Tamil pillar inscription of the reign of the Mahâmaṇḍalêśvara Vîra-Kampaṇa-Uḍaiyar (i.e. Kampaṇa II.[3] ) :─

‘ From the month of Ȃḍi the Viśvâvasu[4] year, which was current after the Śaka year one thousand two hundred and eighty-six.’

461.─Ś. 1290.─Ind. Ant. Vol. XIV. p. 233 ; Inscr. at Śravaṇa-Beḷgoḷa, No. 136, p. 100. Kanarese inscription, containing what is known as Râmânujâchârya’s Śâsana, of the time (?) of the Mahâmaṇḍalêśvara Vîra-Bukkarâya (Bukkarâya I.) :─

Inscr. at Śr.-Beḷg. :Śaka-varsha 1290neya Kîlaka-saṁvatsarada Bhâdrapada-śu 10 Bṛi.

462.─South-Ind. Inscr. Vol. I. No. 88, 8. 124. Conjeeveram Tamil inscription of the reign of Vîra-Kampaṇṇa-Uḍaiyar (i.e. Kampaṇa II.):[5] ‘ On the day of Têr (i.e. Rôhiṇî), which corresponds to Tuesday, the seventh lunar day of the latter half of the month of Makara of the Kîlaka year, which was current (during the reign) of Vîra-Kampaṇṇa-Uḍaiyar.’

[For Kilaka = Ś. 1290] the date is irregular ; see Ind, Ant. Vol. XXII. p. 138, No. 9.

463.─Ś. 1293.─Ep. Ind. Vol. VI. p. 330. Śrîraṅgam (Raṅganâtha temple) inscription of Goppaṇârya (Gôpaṇa), (an officer of Kampaṇa-Uḍaiyar, i.e. Kampaṇa II, the son of Vîra-Bokkaṇa-Uḍaiyar, i.e. Bukkarâya I.) :─

(L. 1).─bandhu-priyê Śak-âbdê.

464.─Ś. 1296.─South-Ind. Inscr. Vol. I. No. 72, p. 103. Tirumalai Tamil inscription of the reign of the Mahâmaṇḍalika Ommaṇa-Uḍaiyar, the son of Vîra-Kampaṇa-Uḍaiyar (alias) Kumâra-Kampaṇa-Uḍaiyar (i.e. Kampaṇa II.):[6]─ ‘ On the day of Uttiraṭṭâdi (i.e. Uttara-Bhadrapadâ), which corresponds to Monday, the either lunar day of the former half of the month of Dhanus of the Ȃnanda year, which was current after the Śaka year 1296.’

Monday, 11th December A.D. 1374 ;[7] see Ind. Ant. Vol. XXIV. p. 3, No. 135. 465.─Ś. 1301.─Jour. Bo. As. Soc. Vol. XII. p. 352. Ḍambaḷ plates[8] of the Râjâdhirâja[9] Vîrapratâpa Harihara (Harihara II.), residing at vijayanagara :[10]─

(L. 100).─ Śak-âbdê Śalivâhasya sahasrêṇa tribhiḥ śataiḥ | êk-âḍhikaiś=cha gaṇitê Siddhârthê=bdê śubhê dinâ || Jyê(jyai)shṭhyâṁ Bhaumê niśânâth-ôparâgê.
