TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS

It records a gift of land called Aṁpāraharavari in Muṅgi-nāḍu, with the permission of the king by Toḷahara Śaṅkara-nāyaka, to the temple of Ñārāyaṇadēva in Hattukēri of the Tuḷu-rājya for feeding brāhmaṇas. It also refers to a gift to the temple of goddess Durgādēvi Mahāpradhāna Aṇṇappa is stated to have been governing Bārākūru-rājya.

TEXT

1 ಶ್ರೀ ಗ[ಣಾಧಿಪತಯೇ]ನಮ[B] ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರ ಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ
............ತ್ರಯಿ[ಲೋಕ್ಯ] –

2 ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ | ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಾಭ್ಯುದಯ ಶಕವರುಷ

3 ಯ ನಳಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ಕಾರ್ತ್ತಿಕ ಸು 2 ಸುಲು ಶ್ರೀಮಂನ್ಮಹಾರಾಜಾಧಿರಾಜ
............ರಾಜಪರಮೇ

4 ಶ್ವರ ಶ್ರೀವೀರಪ್ರತಾಪ ದೇವರಾಯ ಮಹಾರಾಯರು ವಿಜಯೂನಗರಿಯ
............ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಲು ಸುಖ –

5 ಸಂಕಥಾ ವಿನೋದದಿಂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಂಗಳನು ಸಕಲ ವಂರ್ನ್ನಾಶ್ರಮದ
............ಧಂರ್ಮ್ಮಂಗಳನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾಲಿ –

6 ಸುವ ಕಾಲದಲು ಆ ಮಹಾರಾಯರು ನಿರೂಪದಿಂ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಧಾನಂ ಅಂಣಪಗಳು
............ಬಾರಕೂರ ರಾ –

7 ಜ್ಯವನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾಲಿಸುವಲಿ ನಾ[ಲ್ವತು]ನಾಡ ಒಳಗಣ ಕೊಱಗಿಯಲು ತೊಳಹರ
............ಬಳಿಯ [ದೇ]ವಯ ಕಂ –

8 ಬಳಿಯ[ಱ]ಳಿಯ ಸಂಖರನಾಯಕರು [ಆ] ಮಹಾರಾಯರು ಸೇವೆಯನು ಮಾಡಿ
............ಮುಂಗಿನಾಡ ಒಳಗಣ

9 [ಅಂಪಾರ] ಹರವರಿಯನು ಸ[ರ್ವ್ವ]ಮೂಂನ್ಯದಲು ಬಾಳುವಂತಾಗಿ
............ಶಾಸನದಪಟೆಯನು ರಾಯರ ಕ –

10 ಯ್ಯಲು ನಿರೂಪ ಕೊಂಡು ತುಳುರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯ ಹತ್ತು ಕೇರಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ತಾನದ
............ಶ್ರೀ –

11 [ಮನ್ನಾ] ರಾಯಣ ದೇವರಸ್ಥಾನದಲು ಆ ಶಂಕರ ನಾಯಕನು ಹತ್ತುಕೇರಿಯ ಹಲರ
............ಮುಂದೆ –

12 ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣಭೋಜನದ ಧಾರೆಯ ನೆಱದು ಮೂಡಿದ ಅಂಪಾರ ಹರವರಿಯ
............ಬಾಳಿ[ಕೆ]ಯ ಉರ ವಿವರ ತೆಂ –

13 ಕ ಅಂ[ಪಾರು] . . ರ ಆಂಹರುಕಂ ಚತ್ತೂರು ಹಿಲಿ[ವೀ]ಡು ಕುಯ್ಯ ಕೊಡಗೆಯಾಗಿ
............ಅಯಿದು ಊ[ಳಿ] –

14 [ಗ] . . . ಧಂರ್ಮ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆ ಜನನ ಸೀಮೆ ಸ್ವಾಂಮ್ಯ ಹೊಲನೆಲ [ಆ]೦ ಕ ದೀಪ
............. . ಲೆಯ ಕಂಭ ಆಳು –
