______________________________________________
[1] Both the syllables constituting this word vṛiddhiṁ appear to be inaccurately engraved. [The reading
seems to be hṛishṭiṁ.─D. C. S.]
[2] [Better samavalōkya tu taº.─D. C. S.]
[3] The lower parts of some of the letters between majjan and vishāṇēna have been chiselled away for carving
out satī figures in relief.
[4] The following two daṇḍas constituting a superfluous mark of punctuation seem to have been cancelled later
on. [The reading appears to be Guṇaº.─D. C. S.]
[5] There appears to be a superfluous sign for jihvāmūlīya engraved above kha
[6] This letter is preceded by two symbols.
