^[1] Read ºrâtris= ; the sign of visarga may have been struck out already in the original.
^[2] Originally -nivṛittichittêrapi was engraved ; afterwards the i of tti and the ê of ttê appear to have been struck out, the akshara vṛitt[ê] were engraved below the line, and the place where they should be inserted was indicated by a vertical line above the line, before ra.
^[3] Metre : Drutavilambita.
^[4] Originally ºkaḥ seems to have been engraved.
^[5] Metre : Vasantatilakâ.
^[6] The signs for li and lê being very similar, it is somewhat difficult to say whether the reading here and in line 7 is Maṅgaliśa or Maṅgalêśa ; in neither place is it Maṅgalîśa. I read name Maṅgalêśa, because I do not think that the engraver twice would have made the same mistake, and because in line 7 the third akshara of the name appears to me undoubtedly to be lê. Compare the lê of kâlê in l. 16, and the li of malinaṁ in l. 8, and of
liṅga and Kaliṅga in l. 13.

^[8] Metre : Mâlinî.
^[9] Read –sâlaṁ.
^[10] Read –bimbaṁ.
^[11] Metre : Vasantatilakâ.
^[12] The sign of the first consonant (p) of this name, in my opinion, at the top has the vowel o, and below it, u, but the latter seems to have been struck out. In the following syllable, originally the full sign of la seems to have been engraved ; whether the vowel-sign at the top is meant for i or e, is difficult to say.
^[13] Read =pitṛivyaṁ.
^[14] Metre : Mâlinî.
^[15] Instead of the akshara śa originally śô seems to have been engraved.
^[16] Metre : Sragdharâ.
^[17] Metre : Mandâkrântâ.
^[18] Metre : Mattêbhavikrîḍita.
^[19] This sign of punctuation is superfluous.
^[20] In the original, between durga and tâmiva, the aksharas tâmivaga were engraved, and then struck out again.
^[21] Metre : Indravajrâ.
