EPIGRAPHIA INDICA 914.─ Ep. Ind. Vol. p. 311, No. 26. Date of a Mannârguḍi (Jayaṅgoṇḍanâtha temple) Tamil inscription of the 12th year (of the reign) of the glorious king Jaṭâvarman alias the Tribhuvanachakravartin, the glorious Sundara-Pâṇḍyadêva [II.] :─ ‘ In the twelfth year . . . on the day of Svâti, which corresponded to a Friday and to the thirteenth tithi of the first fortnight of the month of Kanyâ.’ [Ś. 1209] : Friday,12th September A.D. 1287 ; but the tithi which ended on this day was a 3rd, not a 13th tithi of the bright half. 915.─ Ep. Date of a Târanmaṅgalam (Iḷamîśvara temple) Tamil inscription of the 13th (really 14th) year (of the reign) of king Jaṭâvarman alias the Tribhuvanachakravartin, the glorious Sundara-Pâṇḍyadêva [II.] :─ ‘ In the thirteenth year . . . on the day of Uttarâshâḍhâ which corresponded to a Monday and to the thirteenth tithi of the first fortnight of the month of Siṁha.’ [Ś. 1211] : Monday, 1st August A.D. 1289.

Date of a Tiruvorriyûr (Âdhipurîśvara temple) Tamil inscription of the 13th (really 14th) year (of the reign) of king Jaṭâvarman alias the Tribhuvanachakravartin, the glorious Sundara-Pâṇḍyadêva [II.] :─ ‘ In the thirteenth year . . . on the day of Uttara-Bhadrapadâ, which corresponded to a Friday and to the third tithi of the second fortnight of the month of Siṁha.’ [Ś. 1211] : Friday, 5th August A.D. 1289. 917.─ Ep. Ind. Vol. VI. p. 312, No. 27. Date of Târamaṅgalam (Iḷamîśvara temple) Tamil inscription of (the year) opposite the 14th (i.e. the 15th) year (of the reign) of king Jaṭâvarman alias the Tribhuvanachakravartin, the glorious Sundara-Pâṇḍyadêva [II.] :─ ‘ (In the year) opposite the fourteenth year . . . on the day of Pushya, which corresponded to a Monday . . . . [of the first fortnight] of the month of Ṛishabha.’ [Ś. 1212] : Monday, 15th May A.D. 1290. 918.─ Supplied by Dr. Hultzsch. Date of an Achcharapâkkam (Akshêśvara temple) Tamil Inscription[1] of the 2nd opposite the 13th (i.e. the 15th) year (of the reign) of king Jaṭâvarman (alias) the Tribhuvanachakravartin, the glorious Sundara-Pâṇḍyadêva [II.]:─ ‘In the 2nd opposite the 13th year . . . on the day of Rôhiṇî, which corresponded to a Monday and to the seventh tithi of the second fortnight of the month of Kanyâ.’ [Ś. 1212] : Monday, 28th August A.D. 1290 ; but this was the last day of the month of Siṁha (preceding the month of Kanyâ). 919.─Ep. Ind. Vol. VI. p. 309, No. 21, Date of a Tinnevelly (Nellaiyappar temple) Tamil inscription on the 26th year (of the reign) of the glorious king Mâravarman alias the Tribhuvanachakravartin, the glorious Kulaśêkharadêva [I.] who was pleased to take every country:─ ‘ In the [2]6th year . . . on the day of Punarvasu, which corresponded to a Wednesday, and to the second tithi of the second fortnight, and to the twenty-second solar day of the month of Vṛiśchika.’ [Ś. 1215] : Wednesday, 18th November A.D. 1293 ; but the tithi which ended on this day was a third, not a second tithi of the dark half. 920.─ Ep.
