EPIGRAPHIA INDICA 205.─Châ. Vi. 27.─PSOCI. No. 169 ; Mysore Inscr. No. 85, p. 173. Baḷagâṁve Kanarese memorial tablet [of the reign of the W. Châlukya Vikramâditya VI. Tribhuvanamalla ?] :[1]─ ‘ The twenty-seventh year (in figures, l. 6) of his reign, the Chitrabhânu saṁvatsara ; Monday, the first day of the dark fortnight of Phâlguna ;’ (Mys. Inscr. ‘ the 27the year of Châlukya-Vikrama’). [For Chitrabhânu = Ś. 1024] the date is irregular. 206.─Châ. Vi. 27.─PSOCI. No. 170 ; Mysore Inscr. No. 58, p. 127. Baḷagâṁve Kanarese inscription[2] of the reign of the W. Châlukya Vikramâditya VI. Tribhuvanamalla [and of his Daṇḍanâyaka Gôvindarasa] :─ (L. 41).─ śrîmach-Châlukya-Vikrama-varshada 27neya Chitrabhânu-saṁvatsarada Phâlguṇa(na)d=amâvâsye Âdityavâra saṁkramaṇa-vyatîpâta=aṁdu.[3] [For Chitrabhânu = Ś. 1024] the date is irregular. 207.─Châ. Tribhuvanamalla, and of his feudatories, the Daṇḍanâyakas Anantapâla and Gôvindarâja :─
(L. 45).─śrîmach-Châlukya-Vikrama-varsha 28neya Subhânu-saṁvatsarada Pushya-ba 10 Su(śu)kravârad=aṁdin=uttarâyaṇa-saṁkramaṇadalli. [Subhânu = Ś. 1025] : Friday, 25th December A.D. 1103. 208.─Châ. Vi. 32.─PSOCI. No. 218 ; Mysore Inscr. No. 104, p. 199. Tâḷgund Kanarese inscription of the reign of the W. Châlukya (Vikramâditya VI.) Tribhuvanamalla, and of his feudatories, the Daṇḍanâyakas Anantapâla and Gôvindarâja :─ (L. 20).─ Châḷukya-Vikrama-kâlada mûvatt-eraḍe(ḍa)neya Sarvvajit-saṁvatsarada Chaitra-su(śu)ddha-tadige Bri(bṛi)haspativâradalu.[4] [For Sarvajit = Ś. 1029] the date is irregular. 209.─Châ. Vi. 32.─Ind. Ant. Vol. XXII. p. 252. Date of a Hûli Kanarese memorial tablet :─ ‘ Vaḍḍavâra, the fifth tithi of the dark fortnight of Śrâvaṇa of the Sarvajit saṁvatsara, which was the thirty-second year of the Châlukya-Vikrama-kâla.’ [Sarvajit = Ś. 1029] : Saturday, 10th August A. D. 1107. 210.─Châ. Vi. 33.─Ind. Ant. Vol. X. p. 251. Kargudari Kanarese inscription of the reign of the W. Châlukya (Vikramâditya VI.) Tribhuvanamalla, and of his feudatory, the Kâdamba (of Hângal) Mahâmaṇḍalêśvara Tailapa II., ‘ lord of Banavâsi,’ ruling at Pânthîpura :─ (L. 38).─śrîmach-Châḷukya-Vikrama-varshada 33neya Sarvvadhâri-saṁvatsarada Herjjuggiya[5] puṇṇami Sômavârad=andina śubha-lagnadoḷ. [Sarvadhârin = Ś. 1030] : Monday, 21st September A.D. 1108 ; see ibid. Vol. XXII. p. 110, No. 5. The inscription gives the genealogy of the Kâdambas from Mayûravarman[6] [I.] to Jayavarman [II.] as stated in Dr. Fleet’s Dynasties p. 559. Jayavarman [II.] had five sons, viz. Mâvulidêva, Tailapa [I.], Śântivarman [II.], Chôkidêva, and Vikrama ; of these, Śântivarman [II.] married Siriyadêvî of the Pâṇḍya family ; their son Tailapa [II.], married Bâchaladêvî of the Pâṇḍya family.
