EPIGRAPHIA INDICA

In the race of the Yadus there was Amaragâṅgêya ; also Jaitugi [I.] ; his son Siṁhala (Siṅghaṇa) ; his grandson Kṛishṇa.

361.─ PSOCI. No. 110. Chauḍadâmpur Kanarese inscription ; the four lines round the top of the stone. Date of the time of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Kanhara (Kṛishṇa) :─

(L. 1).─Kanharadêva-varshada Siddhârtthi-saṁvatsarada Chaitra-bahu ḷa 15 Sô sȗryya-grahaṇada samaya(?).

[For Siddhârthin = Ś. 1181] the date is irregular.

362.─Ś. 1183.─From an impression supplied by Dr. Fleet. Renadâḷ inscription[1] of the reign of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Prauḍha-pratâpa-chakravartin Mahâdêva, ‘ lord of Dvârâvatî :’─

(L. 1).─Śaku 1183 Dȗ(du)rmmati-saṁvatsarê.

363.─ PSOCI. No. 110. Chauḍadâmpur Kanarese inscription. Date of the third year of the reign of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Mahâdêva, and of the Gutta Gutta III., the son of Vikrama (Vikramâditya III.) and Maiḷaladêvî ;[2]

(L. 40).─Mahâdêvarâya-vijayarâjy-ôdaye(ya)da 3raneya Duṁdubhi-saṁvatsarada Vayaśâkha-su(śu)dhdha(ddha) 15 Sômavâra sôma-grahaṇadalli.

[For Dundubhi = Ś. 1184] the date is irregular ; see No. 364.

364.─Ś. 1185*.─PSOCI. No. 111. Chauḍadâmpur Kanarese inscription. Date of the time of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Mahâdêva, and of the Gutta Gutta III. :[3]

(L. 79).─Śaka-varsha 1185neya Dundubhi-saṁvatsarada Vayaśâkha-śuddha 15 Sômavâra sôma-grahaṇad=aṁdu.

The date is irregular ; see No. 363.

365.─ PSOCI. No. 111. Chauḍadâmpur Kanarese inscription. Date of the time of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Mahâdêva :─

(L. 92).─Rudhirôdgâri-[saṁvatsa]rada Jêshṭha-bahuḷa 5 (but possibly 1) Ȃdivâra Shaḍaśîtimukha-saṁkrânti tatkâladalli.

[Rudhirôdgârin = Ś. 1185] : Sunday, 27th May A.D. 1263 ; but the tithi which ended on this day was the third of the dark half ; see Ind. Ant. Vol .XXV. p. 346, No.4.

366.─Ś. 1187.─From an impression supplied by Dr. Fleet ;[4] Ind. Inscr. No. 49. Kôlhâpur inscription of the reign of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Prauḍha-pratâpa-chakravartin Mahârâja Mahâdêva, the younger brother of Kanhara(Kṛishṇa) :─

(L. 8).─Śaka-varshê 1187 varttamâna-Krôdhana-saṁvatsarê Mâghamâsa-pȗrṇṇimâyâṁ Śukra-dinê.

367.─Ś. 1189.─Ind. Ant. Vol. XVIII. p. 128. Date of a Hulgȗr Sanskṛit and Kanarese inscription of the Dêvagiri-Yâdava Mahâdêva :─

(L. 15).─Śaka-varuśada[5] 1189neya Prabhava-saṁvatsarada Jêshṭa-[5]ba 30 Budhavâra sȗrya-grahaṇad=andu.
