518.─Ś. 1461.─PSOCI. No. 132 ; Mysore Inscr. No. 19, p. 29. Harihar Sanskṛit and Kanarese inscription of Virapratâpa Achyutarâya :─

(L. 8).─ Śâkê chaṁdra-ras-Ȃmarêṁdra-gaṇitê . . . Bhâdrapadasya . . . dvâdaśyabhikhyê tithau vârê Bhûmisutasya ;[1] (Mys. Inscr. : ‘ the 12th day of the moon’s increase, the nakshatra being Śravaṇa ‘)

Tuesday, 26th August A.D. 1539 (when the nakshatra was Śravaṇa).

519.─Ś 1462.─. Ep. Ind. Vol. III. p. 151, and Plates. Ûnamâñjêri plates[2] of Achyutarâya, residing at Vijayanagara, recording a grant made at the request of his minister Virûpâksha-Nâyaka, who was born in the family of Ananta and belonged to the [Ȃ]diyappêndra Nâyakas ; (composed by Sabhâpati) :─

(L. 91).─Śak-âbdê Śâlivâhasya sabasrêṇa chatuś-śataiḥ | dvishashṭyâ cha samâyuktê(ktai)r= gaṇanâṁ prâpitê kramât || Śârvarî-nâmakê varshê mâsi Kârttika-nâmani | śukla-pakshê cha puṇyâyâm=utthâna-dvâdaśî-tithau ||

Genealogy as far as Kṛishṇarâya as in No. 502 ; he was succeeded by his younger brother Achyutêndra (Achyutarâya), the son of Nṛisiṁha (Narasa) from Obâmbikâ.

In the year of Śâlivâhana 1463, corresponding to the year Śârvarî, in the month of Kârttika, sudi-pañchamî, Guruvâr.’

The date is irregular.

523.─Ś. 1466*.─Ind. Ant. Vol. XX. p. 66. Toḷachguḍ(Bâdâmi) Kanarese inscription of the reign of the Mahârâjâdhirâja Virapratâpa Sadâśivarâya, recording a grant by the Haḍapadala[7]Kṛishṇappa-Nâyaka :─

(L. 2).─Śâlivâhana-Śaka-varusha 1466neya Śôbhakru(kṛi)t-saṁvatsarada Ȃ[śvija-śu]dha-(ddha) . . .[l]û.

524.─Ś, 1467.─ As. Res. Vol. XX. p. 35. Translation of a Vijayanagara inscription of the time of Sadâśivarâya :─

‘ In the year of Śâlivâhana 1467, corresponding to the year Viśvâvasu, in Krishna(ḷ) sudi-tṛitîyâ, Guruvâram.’

525.─Ś. 1469.─Ind. Ant. Vol. X. 64. Bâdâmi Kanarese inscription of the reign of the Mahârâjâdhirâja Virapratâpa Sadâśivarâya :─

(L. 2).─Śalivâhana-Śaka 1469neya Plavaṁga-saṁvatsarada A(â)śvayuja-śu 15yalû.
