PADUVARI, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in the field about two furlongs to the south east of the
Roman-catholic church

Dēvarāya I, 1419 A.D.

This record, with the latter portion of which being completely damaged, registers a gift of land in Hariharapura of Chikkanakēri made after purchase from the nāḍu and naḍagi of Bayidūr, by the seṭṭikāra of Bayidūr, to Viṭhappa and Māyaṇṇa, sons of Mallappa of Gautam-gōtra, probably on behalf god Senēśvara.

It is dated Śaka 1344 (current), Plava, Kārttika śu. 1, Monday corresponding to 1421 A.D., October 27.

1 ಹರೇರ್ಲ್ಲೀಲಾ ವರಾಹಸ್ಯ ದಂಷ್ಟ್ರಾ ದಂಡಸ್ಸಪಾತುವಃ ಹೇಮಾದ್ರಿ ಕಳಶಾ
..........ಯತ್ರ ಧಾತ್ರೀ ಛ್ಛತ್ರ ಶ್ರಿಯಂ ದಧೌ

2 ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಾಧಿಪತಯೇ ನಮಃ | ಶುಭಮಸ್ತು | ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ

8 ಲಿಸುವ ಕಾಲದಲು ಶ್ರೀಮತು ಬಯಿದೂರ ಹಲರುಸೆಟ್ಟಿಕಾಱರು ಸಮಸ್ತರು
..........ಗಉತಮ ಗೋತ್ರದ –

9 ಮಲ್ಲಪ್ಪಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವಿಠಪ್ಪಗಳು ಮಾಯಂಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಶಿಲಾಶಾಸನದ
..........ಕ್ರಮವೆಂತೆಂದರೆ ನಾಉ ನಂ –

10 ಮ ಸೇ[ನೇ]ಶ್ವರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬಯಿದೂರನಾಡು ನಡಗಿಯರು ಸಮಸ್ತರ ಕಯ್ಯಲು
