SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab lying near the well in the house of Narasiṁha śāstri

Dēvarāya II, 1434 A.D

This badly damaged record registers gifts of lands probably to the maṭha built in the Sōmanātha temple by Kiriya Rāvu-seṭṭi brother of Aḷiya Bemmaṇṇa-seṭṭi of Handaṭi while A[ṇṇappa]-oḍeya was governing Bārakūru-rājya. All the details are, however, lost.

This is dated Śaka 1356, (1357 current), Ānanda, Mārggaśira ba.10, Thursday corresponding to 1434 A.D., November 25.
