No. 3
(A. R. No. 177 of 1931-32)
BŌḌINĀYANIPALLE,PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR DISTRICT
Hero-stone (No. 6) set up in a field to the west of the village
Permāḍi (?). Circa 8th-9th century
This record registers a gift of Kalnāḍu (land ?) by the king and
the villagers, obviously to the family of Rācha of Belatūru, who died
in a cattle-raid at Maṅgala. It refers to Permāḍi as ruling the kingdom
and Mayimana pallavareya as governing Puli-nāḍu.
