TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS No. 19 (A. R. No. 617 of 1929-30) JONNAGIRI, PATTIKONDA TALUK, KURNOOL DISTRICT Slab set up in front of the village chāvaḍi Tribhuvanamalla, (Vikramāditya VI) 1100 A.D. This badly damaged record is dated the 25th year, Vikrama, Monday, the other details being lost. As the king referred to is Tribhu-[vanamalla], we may take the year as the Chālukya-Vikrama year. corresponding to 1100-01 A.D. If the intended date refer to a lunar eclipse as the occasion for the gift, there was a lunar eclipse in the month of Mārgaśira in that year followed by a Monday which corresponded to November 19. The record registers a gift of lands and a garden to a basadi probably situated at Jonnagiri, Daṇḍanāyaka, Perggaḍe Sōvarasa and Malli-seṭṭi are mentioned. The king is stated to have been ruling from his capital at Kalyāṇa.
