PADUVARI, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in a field called ‘Hittalukōṭeâ

Mallikārjuna 1461 A.D.

This badly damaged record registers a gift of land when Śaṅkaradēva-voḍeya was governing Bārakūru-rājya under the orders of mahāpradhāna Rāmachandra-daṇṇāyaka. The details are all, however, lost.

It is dated Śaka 1383, Vishu, Mārgaśira śu. 3, Thursday corresponding to 1461 A.D., November 5.
