TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS

It registers a gift of land made for offerings etc., in the maṭha of Anupamanātha-voḍeya, by the five chiefs (aivaru halaru) of Chauḷiya-kēri. The gift was made over to Subuddhinātha-voḍeya, disciple of Anupamanātha-voḍeya, who also received further gifts of land for offerings to Gōrakanātha (?). It states that Haṁparasa-voḍeya was governing Bārakūru-rājya at the instance of the king’s danāyaka whose name, however, is not given, (c.f. Furthers sources, Vol. I, p. 149, Appendix).

1 ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಾಧಿಪತಯೇ ನಮಃ[|*] ಶ್ರೀ ಸರಸ್ವತ್ಯಾಯೇ ನಮಃ[|*]

2 ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಭ್ಯೋಂ ನಮಃ[|*] ಅವಿಘ್ನಮಸ್ತು[|*] ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರ
............ಚಾ-

3 ಮರ ಜಾರವೇ[|*] ತ್ರಯಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ ||

4 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಾಭ್ಯುದಯ ಶಕವರುಷ 1412ಸಂದು ಸಾವಿರದ ನಾನೂ | -

5 ಱ ಹದಿಮೂಱನೆಯ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಸಂವಚ್ಛರದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಶುದ್ಧ

8 ಥಾ ವಿನೋದದಿಂ ಸಮಸ್ತವಂರ್ನಧಂರ್ಮ್ಮಾಶ್ರಮಂಗಳನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಂ

9 ೦ಗ ಮಹಾರಾಯರು ದಣಾಯ್ಕರ ನಿರೂಪದಿಂದ ಹಂಪರಸ ವೊಡೆಯರೂ

10 ಜ್ಯವನಾಳುವ ಕಾಲದಲೂ ಚೌಳಿಯಕೇರಿಯ ವೊಳಗೆ ಅನುಪಮನಾಥ ವೊಡೆಯರ
............ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಪ | -

11 ಮ ನಾಥವೊಡೆಯರ ಶಿಶ್ಯಸುಬುದ್ಧಿನಾಥ ವೊಡೆಯರೂ ಬಾಳಿಕೆಯ ಶಿಲಾಶಾಸನದ

12 ದಲು ಅನುಪಮನಾಥ ವೊಡೆಯರ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಅಯಿವರು ಹಲರು ಧಾರಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ

13 ಟ್ಟ ಠಾವಿನ ಚತುಸೀಮೆಯ ವಿವರ ಮೂಡಲು ಚೌಳಿಯಕೇರಿಯ ಅಯಿವರು ಹಲರ

14 ಲು . . . ಕೆಲ್ಲಂಗೆಱೆಯ ದೇವಂಣಗಳ ಮಠದ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ ಕಾಮೆಯನಾಯ್ಕನ
