46 ದು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸ್ತೆಉ ಯಿಧರ್ಮಕೆ ಆ-

47 ರೊಬರು ತಪಿದರೆ ತಂಮ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗ-

48 ಳ ವಾರಣಾಸಿಲಿ ಕೊಂದ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೆ

49 ಹೋದವರೂ ಗೋಹತ್ಯ ಪಾತಕಗಳೂ ಬ್ರ-

50 ೦ಹ್ಮ ಹತ್ಯ ಪಾತಕ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಹತ್ಯ ಪಾತಕ

51 ಋಣಹತ್ಯ ಪಾತಕಗಳೂ ಮೊದಲಾ-

52 ಗಿ ಅಶ್ವೀತಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಮಹಾಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ-

53 ಹೋಹರು ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ರುಷ್ಣರಾಯರೂ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿ-

59 ಯ ಮಹಾರಾಯರೂ ನಮಗೆ ಧಂರ್ಮವಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಮರ್ಪ್ಪಿಸಿದೆವು

HOSĀḶA. UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab lying in the garden adjoining the tank at Chauḷikēri

Kṛishṇadēvarāya, 1514 A.D.

This right side of the slab bearing this record is completely damaged and chipped off. It registers a gift of land to a deity and for feeding some Brāhmaṇas, It refers to Lakshmīnārāyaṇa, probably the deity, and mentions that Vijaya . . . ., son of a certain Voḍeya was governing Bārakūru-rājya.

It is dated Śaka 143[7], Bhāva, Chaitra śu. 1, Monday corresponding to 1514 A.D., March 27. The Śaka year was current.

1 ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಾಧಿಪತಯೇ ನಮಃ [|*] ಶ್ರೀ ಸರಸ್ವತ್ಸೈ ನಮಃ [|*] ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಭ್ಯೋಂ
............ನಮಃ [|*] ನಿರ್ವಿಘ್ನಮಸ್ತು [|*] ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ-

2 ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ [|*] ತ್ರಯಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ
............ಶಂಭವೇತು [|*] ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ [ಜ]ಯಾಭ್ಯುದ-

3 ಯಶಾಲಿವಾಹನ ಶಕವರ್ಷ 142[7] ಸಂದು . . . . ವರ್ತಮಾನ
