RĀCHANĀPALLE, ANANTAPUR TALUK, ANANTAPUR DISTRICT

Slab set up by the road-side

Tribhuvanamalla, [1122 A.D.] (Vikramāditya VI)

This badly damaged record registers grants of land, garden, oil- mill, etc. to god Ma[llikārjuna] of Mūlasthāna by mahāmaṇḍalēśvara Rēviyarasa, mahāmaṇḍalēśvara Chōḷarasa and another whose name is lost. The last bears the praśasti commencing with Aridurddhara-vara° etc. and the title Ureyūrapuravaradhīśvara. The record is identical with No. 23 above and so the third person herein referred to might be Kētamallarasa.

It is dated Chāḷukya-Vikrama year, 15, Vaiśākha-puṇṇame, Sunday. If the cyclic year was Śubhakrit, other details regularly correspond to 1122 A.D., April 23.
