ŚRĪRAṄGAM, TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI TALUK, TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI DISTRICT
West wall of the second prākāra of Raṅganātha temple
Achyutadēvarāya, [1534 A.D.]
This undated record invokes the god to endow untainted
devotion, happiness and bliss on Hullarasa-Liṅgaya-Dēvarāya who made
over the golden vessels presented to the god by the king, and had the
inseription engraved. The vessels etc., referred to herein are detailed in
No. 178 above, in continuation of which this record has engraved and
probably on the same date.

1 ಯೀ ಚಿಂನದ ಸ್ವರೂಪಗಳನೂ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅಚುತದೇವರಾಯ ಮಹಾರಾಯರೂ
ತಂಮ ಉಭಯವಾಗಿ |
2 ಶ್ರೀರಂಗನಾಥ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕಳುಹಚಿತ್ತೈಸಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುಬಂದು ಶ್ರೀ
ರಂಗನಾಥ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ |

Slab set up in the prākāra off the Vinayaka temple
Achyutarāya, 1536 A.D.
This record is dated Śaka 1477 (expired), (1478 current), Manmatha,
Phālguṇa śu. 5. The cyclic year Manmatha corresponds to Śaka 1457.
The details of date. which are not verifiable, correspond to 1536 A.D.,
February 5.
The record seems to refer to a concession shown in the tax due
to the king from the village Uppūru by Koṇḍappoḍeya who was
administering Bārakūru-rājya under the orders of Suṅkaṇa-nāyaka who
was governing Bārakūru-Maṅgaḷūru-rājya.
