1 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತು ಪಟ್ಟದಪಿರಿಯರಸಿ

2 ಬಲ್ಲಮಹಾದೇವಿಯರು ವಿಜಯ

3 ರಾಜ್ಯಮುತ್ತರೋತ್ತರಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವರ್ದ್ಧಮಾ-

4 ನ ಆಚಂದ್ರಾರ್ಕ್ಕತಾರಂಬರಂ [ಸ]-

5 ಲುತ್ತವಿರ್ದ್ದ ಸಕವರುಷ 1201 ನೆಯ

6 ಇಶ್ವರ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ಕಂನ್ಯಾಮಾಸ

7 15ನೆಯ ಆದಿವಾರದಂದು ಸಮ[ಸ್ತ]

BEḶḶARPĀḌI, UDIPI, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab standing in the temple of Vishṇumūrti

Ballamahādēvī, 1279 A.D.

This record refers to the fixation of tax payable from the village Beḷḷarpaḷḷi, by the queen in the presence of the members of her royal court. The record appears to be incomplete.

It is dated cyclic year Pramādi, Jyēshṭha ba. 11, Mithuna 11, Wednesday corresponding to 1279, A.D., June 6. The weekday was Tuesday.
