15 ಥ ದೇವರ ಸಂನಿಧಿಯಲು ಸಾಸನಸಹಿತ ಧಾರಾ-

16 ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಉರದಲು ಯಿಂದ್ರಮ[ಕ್ಕಿ]

17 ಯಲು ತಮಗೆ ಬಹಂತಹ ಬೆದೆಯ ಭತ್ತವನು ಶ್ರೀ-

18 ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವರ . . ವಿನ ನಿವೇದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಮಾ-

19 ನ ವಾಱು ವಿ[ದ್ಯಾಧ]ರ ದೇವರ ನಿವೇದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಮಾನ ಎರ-

NĪLĀVARA, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 2) set up in the prākāra of Mahishāsuramardinī temple

Ballamahādēvī, 1277 A.D.

This indifferently engraved record registers a gift of money and land to goddess Bhagavatī of Niruvāra by the sama[sta] pradhāna, dēśapurusha and other officials of this village.

It is dated Śaka 1201, Īśvara, Kanyā 15, Sunday. The cyclic year Īśvara corresponds to Śaka 1199 when the other details regularly corresponds to 1277 A.D., September 12.
