TEXT

1          ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಸಮಧಿತ ಪಞ್ಚಮ –

2          ಹಾಶಬ್ದ ಪಲ್ಲವಾನ್ವಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಿಥುವೀವಲ್ಲಭ

3          ನೊೞಮ್ಬದಿ ಅರಸ[ನ್] ಪ್ರಿಥುವೀರಾಜ್ಯಂಗೆಯೆ

4          ಪ್ರಿಥುವೀಪತಿ ಅರಸನ್ನಾಡಾಳೆ ಎಡೆಯೂ –

5          ರ ತೊಱುಗೊಣ್ದು ಪರಿವಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲಗು –

6          ನ್ಪುರಮರ್ಮ್ಮಗನ್ಕಾಡಕುಟ್ಟಿ ಆನ್ತಱಿದು

7          ಬೀೞ್ದನ್ ಅವಂಗೆ ಕಲ್ನಾಡು ಕೊಟ್ಟೊಮ್ಮಾರ –

8        ಸಿಂಗರಸಮ್ಮಮ್ಮ[ಗ]1ನ್ಮಾರಮಯ್ಯ ನ್ಕೊ –

9        ಟ್ಟದು ಒಕ್ಕಣ್ದುಗ ಕೞನಿ ಇದನ್ನ –

10       ಲಿಸಿದೋನಶ್ವಮೇತದಾ ಫಲಮೆ –

11        ಯ್ದುಗು[೦] ಇದನ ಆೞಿವೋನ್ವಾರಣತಿ

12       ಯನ್ ಆೞಿದ ಪಞ್ಚಮಹಾಪಾತಕನ್ [||*]

MĀGAṆḌLAPALLE (Near Vanamaladinne), PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR
DISTRICT

Slab lying in a field to the west of the village

Iriva-Nolaṁba II, circa 10th century

       This record states that the king, who was camping at Veṁduraponne in Paruvi-nāḍu, conferred upon Basavayya, son of Bīrāne-gāvuṇḍa of Pulī-nāḍu, the title of Pallavāditya-Noḷaṁba-gāvuṇḍa along with other royal insignia such as a horse, umbrella, throne etc, and granted him the village Nagekuṁṭe in Puli-nāḍu. The record gives the genealogy of the king as follows :
