BŌḌINĀYANIPALLE, PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOR DISTRICT

temple in a field to the west of the village

Circa 9th century

This record, in characters of about the 9th century, refers to an attack upon Māinda-Nola[mba] by (Bāṇarasa) when punniyakumārarasa was governing Maṅgalabali-12 division. This latter chief bears the epithetrs Baimdhu-mahārājādhirāja, Paramēśvara and pulvari-nātha. The details of the record are, however, lost.

1 ಸಸ್ತಿ ಬೈ[ಮ್ದು] ಮಹಾರಾಜಾಧಿರಾಜ

2 ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ ಪುಲ್ವರಿನಾಥ ಶ್ರೀ-

3 ಮ[ನ್] ಪುನ್ನಿಯಕುಮಾರಾರಸರ್ ಮಂ-

4 ಗಲಬಱಿ ಪನ್ನೆರಡುಮಾನಾಳು-

5 ತ್ತಿರೆ ಬಾಣರಾಸರ್ [ಮಾ]ಇನ್ದನೊಱ-
