2 ಜ್ಯದುಳ್ಳ ಪುರಿಗೆಱು –

3 ಯ ನಕರಂಗುಳ್ಳ[ಸೆ] –

4 ಟ್ಟಿಪಳ್ಳಿ ಸುಂನ್ಕಮಾನದ್ಧ[೯]

5 ದಾನಪಡೆದಾ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ

Slab set up in the Mahāliṅgēśvara temple

Nṛpamallarāja, Circa 9th century

This record, in characters of about the 9th century A. D., seems to record a political agreement entered into among four persons, viz., Narasiṅgan Durgarāja, son of Balle-oḍeya, Rāchamallan Durgarāja, brother of Viḷarittaḷiyarasa, the Kataṁba ruler whose name is not given and the king Nrpamallarāja himself, to the effect that they should discontinue mutual enmity and fights.

1 [ಸ್ವ]ಸ್ತಿ . ಶ್ರೀಮತ್

2 ರಾಜಕುಲಾಂಬರಾದಿ-

3 ತ್ಯ ಸತ್ಯಶೌಚ ವಿನಯಾಚಾರ-

4 [ಸ]ಮ್ಪನ್ನ [ಶ್ರೀ]ನೃಪಮಲ್ಲರಾಜ ರಾಜ್ಯ-

5 ವೃದ್ಧಿಯು[ಳ್ಳೆ] ಸಕಲಗುಣ ಗ-

6 ಣಾಲಂಕೃತ ಕತಮ್ಭಕು[ಲೋ]ದ್ಭವ ಶ್ರೀ ಪೃಥುವೀ ರಾ-

7 ಜ್ಯದೊಳ್ ಇರ್ವ್ವರು ತ[ಮು]ಳೇಕಸ್ತರಾಗಿ [ವಿ]-

8 [ಳರಿ]ತ್ತಳಿಯರಸರಾ ಪ್ರಿಯಾನುಜನ್ ರಾಚಮ[ಲ್ಲ]ನ್ದುಗರಾಜ

9 ಬ[ಲ್ಲೆ] ಒಡೆಯರಾ ಮಗನ್ ನರಸಿಙ್ಗನ್ದುಗರಾಜ-

10 ನಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಯಿಱ್ದು ಸಾದನೂರಾಮರ[ದಗ]-

11 ಳದಾ ದೇಗಲದೊಳ್ ವೋಲಗದ ಪಳಿಯವ-

12 ರುಂ ಶ್ರೀಧರಪಟ್ಟರುಂ ಮೇಧಾವಿಭಟ್ಟರುಂ ಪುರೆ[ಯ]
