TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS No. 298 (A. R. No. 178 of 1931-32) BŌḌINĀYANIPALLE, PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR DISTRICT Hero-stone (No. 7) set up in a field to the west of the village Circa 10th century This record registers a gift of land under the tank called the Baḍaṅgāni-kere, by the king and the ūru of Maṅgala in memory of a hero whose name is not clear, who died during a cattle-raid. It states that Vajradēva was ruling over puli-nāḍu. TEXT
