Hero-stone (No. 6) set up in the same place

Circa 10th century

       It registers the death of Janaga [Pōta]rasa along with his uncle.

Circa 10th century

       This fragmentary record refers to three individuals Gaṁga, Gaṁgaṁ-Raṇaṁga and Malla and to a certain Mōḍamma who was ruling the nāḍu.

SAṆḌŪR, SANDUR TALUK, BELLARY DISTRICT

Pedestal in an enclosure near the Pātālēśvara shrine in the
Kumārasvāmin temple on the Kumārasvāmi hill

1042 A.D.

       This is dated Śaka 9[6]7, Pārthiva Vaiśākha śu. 6, Thursday corresponding 1042 A.D., April 25.

       It records the installation of (an image of) a peacock by the goldsmith (akkasāle) Chandāchāri, son off Hampāchāri of Orvvay. It refers to Bayna-Kula.
