HOSĀḶA, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Broken stone lying on a raised pial near the Bhaṇḍāri-kēri-maṭha

Circa 14th century

This fragmentary record seems to register a gift of land and money, for offerings and burning a perpetual lamp probably in a maṭha by Tirumakaṁbaḷi and Saṅkuseṭi The gift was entrusted to Raghuvara-tīrtha-śrīpāda. Karaṅika Mallarasa of Bārakūru wrote the record.
