^[1] We have probably to read yuddam=adbhuta-vikramaḥ.
^[2] These two daṇḍas are superfluous.
^[3] A more correct form would be mēlanaṁ.
^[4] This daṇḍa is superfluous.
^[5] Sandhi is not observed here.
^[6] The portion of verse from chaturº to ºnnataḥ is redundant here ; it is meant for the twenty-fourth canto herein it occurs in the thirty-sixth stanza.
^[7] The meaning of this part is obscure ; this line of writing in any way is superfluous.
