EPIGRAPHIA INDICA

_________________________________________________
[1] This yasya is engraved above the line.
[2] This ttāṁ is a correction from tvāṁ.
[3] These four letters and the daṇḍa as well as the letter dha at the end of the foregoing line appear in the
margin. Apparently they were first omitted by the engraver through oversight, who later discovered the omission
and made it good.
[4] Or perhaps the original has correctly psu, the upward stroke of the medial u merging into the left hand
downward stroke of s.
[5] This is obviously meant to be tāmraṁ, being the in incorrect form often met with in inscriptions.
