ACHYUTAPURAM PLATES OF INDRAVARMAN.


According to line 12 f. the grant was made on the occasion of the consecration of a tank (taṭâka)1 in honour of the king’s mother. This tank appears to be distinct from the “King’s Tank” (Râjataṭâka), near which the field was situated.
