INSCRIPTIONS OF THE KALACHURIS OF RAIPUR
There is only one place-name mentioned in the present record. Rāyapura, where
the temple of Hāṭakēśvara was erected, is clearly Raipur where the inscribed stone was
found.

3 Read गिरिप्रभेदनपविर्विघ्नाब्घिधग्वाडवो The akshara वि is incised above व्ध, but it is not clear where it
is to be inserted.

5 Metre: Śārdūlavīkriḍita.

10 The intended wording seems to be धनुर्धराणां च शरैर्व्यापिनां र्कि भुवनत्रयम्,, but it does not suit the
metre Anushṭubh.
