1 Metre: Vasantatilakā.
2 The vowel of अनूजस्य is lengthened for the sake of the metre. Many other records of the Kalachuris of Ratanpur (e.g., No 76, 1. 10; No 89, 1. 7, above) read अन्वये.which seems to be better, since such a word required to be connected with
3 Other cognate plates read स्विष्‍ट-.
4 Metre: Upajāti.
5 Metre: Vasantatilakā.
6 Metre: Anushṭubh.
7 This word which was at first omitted is supplied with the figure 11 at the bottom of the plate.
8 Metre: Mālinī.
9 The engraver had first incised the conjunct ङ but he afterwards cancelled it and incised only the letter ग, at the top of ङ्‍अ मु Metre: Anushṭubh.
10 The vertical stroke of त is not incised.
11 The engraver first incised न्र and then corrected it as नृ. Metre: Śikhariṇī.
12 The vowel of यु was first incised as long and then shortened.
13 The visarga after न,which was omitted at first, is incised below the line.
14 The akshara ग,which was omitted here, is incised together with the figure 14, at the bottom of the
plate. There are superfluous marks of rēpha on both द्दे वो.
15 Metre: Anushṭubh.
16 Metre: Sragdharā.
