(Verse 11) From him was born Pṛithvīdēva (II) as a cub is from a lion; who,

the strong body of a lion, destroyed his enemies like a troop of elephants.

अष्टादशारिकरिकुम्भविभङ्गर्सिहाः.

2 The correct reading may be
वभूवुरतिशौर्यपराश्च.
3 Hiralal suggested the reading
भूद्भुवि कार्तवीर्यः.
The correct reading would be
तद्धंशग्रभवा नरेन्द्रपतयः.
but it
would not suit the metre.
