1          ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ಕಣ್ನರದೇವ . .

2          ವೀರಾಜ್ಯಂಗೆಯ್ಯುತ್ತಿರೆ[ಚೆ] .

3          ಮ್ಮಗೂರ ಲೋಕೆಯ[ರಸ]

4          ರ ಮಗಂ [ಮ್ಮಾ]ಸರಯ್ಯ . .

5          ಗೆ ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಬನ್ದೂ . .

6          ವಿಱಿಯಲ್ತಾನುಮಿಪ್ಪತ್ತುಂ

7          ನಸಮುಮಾನ್ತಿಱಿದು ಸರ್ಗ

8          ಮೇಱಿದಮ್

9          ಬೆಸಗೆಯ್ದೋಂ ಕೋಯತೂ –

...............KĀPPALLE, PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR DISTRICT

..... Hero-stone (No. 7) set up in a field about two furlongs to the east of
..................................... Lōkanāthēśvara temple

.......................................................Kannaradēva

       This record refers to the death of Tigeṭi Muttarasa, a servant of Māsarasa, son of Lōkarasa of Semmagūr when the latter was attacked by Mahārāja, and registers a grant, in his memory, of the village (?) Būdalikere and 30 goḷa of land in Panekere free of all taxes (?) Mada-Muttarase, grandson of the hero and son of Kēta-Muttarasa had the hero-stone installed.
