TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS No. 13 (A. R. No. 200 of 1931-32) VANAMALADINNE, PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR DISTRICT Slab (No. 6) set up in a field to the west of the village Parāntaka I, [955 A.D.] This record refers to the 48th year of the reign of Maduragoṇḍa- kō-Parakēsari and states that while Śīvarayya was administering Pulināḍu, Polleya lost his life in a raid (?) at Eḍe-ūr. The gāvuṇḍas of the place appear to have made a gift of land-in his memory. TEXT
