Dēvarāya I, 1407 A.D.

This slightly damaged record states that since Hosabu-mūli was unjustly killed by the king’s servants, Daṇḍappa-adhikāri who was governing the Karakaḷasthala-nāḍu along with the mūḍilas, Mārama- heggaḍe, the eight jananis and the thirty-two of the sabhe granted land to the family of the deceased, at the instance of mahāpradhāna Bāchaṇṇa-oḍeya who was governing Bārakūru-rājya.

The record is dated Śaka, 1330, Sarvajit, Jyēshṭha śu., the tithi and weekday being lost. The Śaka year was current and the tithi in the bright half of the month would fall sometimes, in May-June, 1407 A.D.
