8 . . . . . ೦ ಬಯಲ . . ದೇವರನೂ ಅಂನ್ಯಾಯದಲಿ ಹಾಯಿದು ಹಿ –

9 ಡಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಹ ಅಳಿದಾಯೆಂದು . ಮಾಣಿಸು . ವ ಹೊಸಬು ಮೊ

10 ಯಲಿಯನೂ ಅಂನ್ಯಾಯದಲಿ ಅರಸಿನಬಂಟರೂ ಕೊಂದ ಸಂಮ –

11 ೦ಧ ಆ ಬಾಚಂಣ್ನ ಒಡೆಯರ ನಿರೂಪದಿಂ ಕರಕಳದಸ್ತಳದ ನಾಡನಾಳು –

12 ವ ದಂಡಪ್ಪ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮೂಡಿಲರು ಮಾರಮ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆಯರೂ

13 ಅಬಳಿ ಸಾವಿರದವರೂ . ೦ಬಯಲ ಯೆಂಟುಮಂದಿ ಜನನಿ –

14 ನಿಗಳು ಮೂವತ್ತೆರಡುಮಂದಿ ಸಭೆಯೂ ಮುಂತಾಗಿ ಹೊಸಬು

15 ಮೂಲಿಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಶಿಲಾಸಸನದ ಕ್ರಮವೆಂತೆಂ –

16 ದಡೆ ಆ ಹೊಸಬು ಮೂಲಿಯ ಮನೆಯಿಂದಂ ಪಡುವಣ ಬೆಟ್ಟು ಕೊಡ –

17 ಗಿತ್ತವನೊಟೆಂ ತೆಂಕಲು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಗೋಳಿ ಬಡಗ ಶೆಂಚಿಂ ಬಡಗಲು

18 ಮಠದ ತೋಟಂ ಮೂಡಲು ಮೂಡಣ ಓಣಿಂ ಪಡುವಲು ಯಿ

19 ಚತುಸೀಮೆ ಒಳಗುಳ ಬೆಟ್ಟು ಹೊಳೆಯ ತಡಿಯಬಯಲ ಕೋಟಿಯ

20 ಗದ್ದೆ ಯಷ್ಟಱೊಳಗೆ ಹಂನೊಂದು ತಾರದ ಮೊದಲನೂ

21 ಕಾಡುಗನೆತ್ತಿಯ ಬಳಿಯ ಹೊಸಬುಮೂಲಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದ –

22 ವರಿಗೆ ಆಚಂದ್ರಾರ್ಕಸ್ತಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಬಾಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವ್ವಮಾಂನ್ಯ –

23 ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆಉ ಯಂತಪ್ಪುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಚಂಣ್ನ ಒಡೆಯರ ಸುಹ –

24 ಸ್ತ ದೊಪ್ಪ ಯಿಶಸನದ ಕಲ್ಲಿಂಗೆ ಅಳುಪಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ವಾರಾಣಾಸಿಯ –

Slab (No. 8) set up in the prākāra of Mahishāsuramardini temple
(Second side)

Dēvarāya I, 1407 A.D.

This record is dated Śaka 1330, Sarvajit, Āśvayuja ba. 1 Sunday corresponding regularly to 1407 A.D., September 18. The Śaka year was current.

It registers a grant of provisions made for the offerings to goddess Durgādēvī of Nīruvāra by Śivadāsidēva-ayagaḷ, with the consent of the sixteen of the village, Jagattu-300, Pādāḷi and Sūlapāṇi. Bāchaṇṇa-voḍeya, under whose command Śivadāsidēva was in-charge of the administration of that village, was governing Bārakūru-rājya.
