35 ಹದಿನಾಱುಮಂದಿ ಸೆಟ್ಟಿಕಾಱರು ಯೆಳುನೂಱ ಯೆ[೦ಟ್ಟು] ತಳದ ವೊಳಗಾದ ನಖರ
ಹಂಜಮಾನದ ಸ –

36 ಮಸ್ತಹಲರ ವೊಪ್ಪ ಶ್ರೀನಾರಾಯಣದೇವರು ಮೂಡಿಲರವೊಪ್ಪ ನಿಡುಬರರ

37 ವೊಪ್ಪ ಯೆರಡು ಪಕ್ಕದ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಳಿ . . ತೊರೆ ಸಮಸ್ತಂರ ವೊಪ್ಪ ಅರುವರು

CHOKKĀḌI, (near Yēṇaguḍḍe) UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 2) set up in the prākāra of Mahālingēśvara temple

Virūpāksha, 1474 A.D.

This is dated Śaka 1396 (expired, 1397 current) Jaya, Chaitra śu. 13, Thursday corresponding to 1474 A.D., March 31.

The record registers an agreement as in No. 146, above and details the annulment of certain privileges till then enjoyed by some members of both the parties. Hariyappa-sēnabōva wrote the record.

TEXT

1 ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಾಧಿಪತಯೇ ನಮಃ [|*] ಶ್ರೀ ಸರಸ್ವತ್ಯೈ ನಮಃ [|*] ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಭ್ಯೋ
............ನಮಃ | ನಿರ್ವಿಘ್ನಮಸ್ತು ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂ –

2 ಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ | ತ್ರೈಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ
............ಶಂಭವೇ | ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಾಭ್ಯುದಯ –

3 [ಯ ಶಕ]ವರುಷ 1396 ಸಂದು ಯೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ತ್ತಮಾನ ಜಯ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ
............ಚಯಿತ್ರ ಶುದ್ಧ 13ಗುಲು ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ಮ –

5 ನಿಯಲೂ ಸಮಸ್ತವರ್ನ್ನಧರ್ಮಾಶ್ರಮಂಗಳನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ಸುಖಸಂಕಥಾವಿನೋದದಿಂ
............ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅಯಿಶ್ವರ್ಯವನು

6 ಪ್ರತಿಪಾಲಿಸುತಿಹಕಾಲದಲೂ ಆ ವಿರೂಪಾಕ್ಷ ಮಹಾರಾಯರು ನಿರೂಪದಿಂದ
............ವಿಠರಸವೊಡೆಯರು ಬಾರಕೂರ ರಾ –

7 ಜ್ಯವನಾಳುವ ಕಾಲದಲೂ ಬಾರಕೂರ ಹತ್ತುಕೇರಿ ಹದಿನಾಱುಮಂದಿ ಸೆಟ್ಟಿಕಾಱಱು
