18 ಗಿ ಕುಳವಕಡಿದು ಧಾಱೆಯನೆಱದು ಕೊಟೆಉ ಕೃಶ್ನದೇವರ ಒಮ್ರತಪಡಿ

19 ನಂದಾದೀಪ್ತಿಯನು ನಡಪಿ ನಿಂಮ ಶಷ್ಯ ಪಾರಂಪರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಚಂದ್ರಾ –

20 ರ್ಕಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ ನೀವೇ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ಬಹಿರಿ ಯೆಂದು ವಿಜೆಯಪ್ಪವೊಡೆರು

21 ರಘುನಾಥ ವೊಡೆಯರು ಸಹಿರಣ್ಯೋದಕ ದಾನ ಧಾರಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ

PERDŪRU, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 2) set up in the prākāra of Vīrabhadra temple

Kṛishṇadēvarāya, 1519 A.D.

This record is dated Śaka 1440 (expired), (1441 current) Pramāthi, Jyēshṭha śu. 15, Saturday, lunar eclipse corresponding to 1519 A.D., May 14. The month was Adhika-Jyashṭha.

It registers a grant of 180 Varāha-gadyānas being the value of 300 mūḍe of paddy due from the village perdūru situated in Baṁdaṁpaḷi-nāḍu of Bārakūru-rājya, to god Anantadēva of that place, for the, prosperity and welfare of the king, by Vijayappa-voḍeya, son of Ratnappa-voḍaya, who was governing Bārakūru-rājya. Of the amount endowed 120 Varāha-gadyāṇas were set apart for expenses towards worship, offering etc., in the temple while the remaining 60 gadyānas were given for the maintenance of Sūrappa-adhikāri, son of Sakappa-adhikāri of Bhāradvāja-gōtra and Ṛik-śākhā who was made responsible for the regular conduct of worship in the temple.
