14 ಟಿ ನಾಯಕ ವೊಡೆಯ ಹಳದ ರಾಮನಾಥನ ಗೋಪಾಯಿ

15 ಆಕೆಯತಂಮ ರಾಮನಾಥ ದೇವರ ತೊಳದ ರಾಮಣನು

16 ಹೊಸಮಲೆಯ ದು[ರ್ಗ]ದ ರಾಮನಾಥದೇವರ ಗುಡಿಯನು

17 ಕಟಿಸ್ತ[ರು] ಗಂಟೆ ಜೀಗಟೆ ಹರಿವಾಣ ಜೆಂಬು[ಯಿ]

NĪLĀVARA, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 5) set up in the prākāra of the Mahishāsuramardini temple

Kṛishṇadēvarāya, 1528 A.D.

This record is dated Śaka 1450 (expired), (1451 current), Sarvadhāri, Jyēshṭha śu. 10, The tithi corresponds to 1528 A.D., May 28 Thursday. The details. however, cannot be verified.

It registers a gift of 7½ kāṭi out of the siddhāya tax due from the village Niruvāra for conducting a special worship on Navarātri days in the temple of Durgādēvi of the place, by Vijayaṇṇa-voḍeya, who was governing Bārakūru-rājya under the seal of Timmaṇa- voḍeya to whom it was made over by Kṛishṇarāya-Nāyaka who had himself obtained it from the king Timmarasa, the karaṇika of Bārakūru wrote the record with the approval of Sūrapa-adhikāri.
