UPPUNDA, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up near a field called ‘Mañjayyabhaṭṭara-hola’

[Sōyidēva ?] 1317 A.D.

This badly damaged record in characters of about the 14th century is dated the cyclic year Dundubhi, [Jyēshṭha] śu. 15, Monday probably corresponding to 1322 A.D., May 31, when Vīra Sōyidēva of the Āḷupa family was ruling.

It seems to registers a gift of land probably by a lady. All details are lost.
