8 ಬಾಳನುಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಆ ಬಾಳಿಂಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುಂದೆಱು ಕೋಟೇಶ್ವರದೇವರಿಂಗೆ

PAḌUVARI, COONDAPUR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in a field

Sōidēva, 1324 A.D.

The record is dated Śaka 12[4]6, Raktākshi, Siṁha 17, Wednesday corresponding to 1324 A.D., August 14, the weekday being, however, Tuesday.

It records a gift of land, situated in Bayidūru, excluding the dēvasva belonging to god Baṁkēśvara to god Sōmanātha and another deity (name lost), by the king and Siṁgaṇṇa-sāhaṇi, grandson of mahāpradhāna Sōvaṇṇa-sēnabōva. It states that Mallikārjuna-gōpa, son of . . dādēvi was to protect the gift.

1 ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ ತ್ರೈಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾರಂಭ

2 ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ || ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀಮತು ಸಕವರುಷ 12[4]6

3 ನೆಯ ರಕ್ತಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ಸಿಂಹಮಾಸ 1[7]ನೆಯ ಬುಧವಾರಂದಂ-

4 ದು ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮತ್ಪಾಂಡ್ಯ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತ್ತಿ ಅರಿರಾಯ ಬಸವ ಸಂಖರ ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರ

5 [ಸೋ]ಇದೇವಾಳ್ಪೇಂದ್ರದೇವರಸರು ಶ್ರೀಮನು ಮಹಾಪ್ರಧಾನಂ ಸೋವ-

6 ೦ಣ ಸೇನಬೋವ[ರಮಂ] ಮಗ ಸಿಂಗಣ ಸಾಹ[ಣಿ] . . . ಬರದು ಕೊಟ್ಟ .

7 . . ಬಯಿದೂರ ನಾಡ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಲೋಕಿಯ[ಡಹ]ರ ಮುಂತಾಗಿ ಬ-

8 ಇದೂರ ಹರವರಿ ಯೊಳಕೆ ತೊಳಹರ ಬಳಿಯ ದಾತುನಾಯ ಕನ .

9 ದ ಬಾಳು ಮೂಡಲು ಸೊಳೆಯಮಕಳ ಬಾಳ ಬಸುರಿಗೊಳಗಡಿ ಪಡುವ

10 ಲು ಸಮುದ್ರಗಡಿ ತೆಂಕಲು ಯಿಸ್ವರ ಸೇನಬೋವನ ವೋಣಿಗಡಿ ಬಡಗಲು

11 ಮಾವಿನ ಕುಳಿಗಡಿ ಯಿಂತೀ ನಾಕುಗಡಿಯಿಂದೊಳ[ಗ*]ಣ ಬಾಳಿನೊಳಗೆ ಬ-
