12 ೦ ಕೇಶ್ವರದೇವರ ದೇವಸ್ವ ಭಾರತಮಕಿ ಹೊಱಗಾಗಿ ವುಳಿದ ಬಾಳನೂ

13 ಆ ಬಾಳಿಂ ಸಲುವ ಮಕಿಮ[ನೆ] . . ಕಿ ನಿಟ್ಟಿಲು [ಕೊ]೦ತಾರಿ ಮು

14 ೦ತಾದ ಬಾಳನು ಆ ಬಾಳಿಂಗೆ ಬಂದ ತೆಱುವೊಳಗೆ . . . . . .

15 ಯೆಲ್ಲವನು ಕೊಯಿದು ಕಱುಕೆಯಕಿರ್ತ್ತಡೆ . . . . [ನಾಥ] ಸೋಮ-

16 ನಾಥ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಆ ಚಂದ್ರಾರ್ಕ್ಕಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ ಧಾರಾಪೂ-

17 ರ್ವ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಯೆಱದು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಯಿ ದೇವಗಳ ಭಾರ್ಯ್ಯೆ

PĀDEBEṬṬU, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in Dammaraguḍḍe, about a mile to the north of the
Subrahmanya temple

Vira Sōyidēva, 1324 A.D.

The badly damaged record seems to register a gift of money and land the king to god Kōṭiśvaradēva. It refers to mahāpradhāna Sōvaṇṇa and senabōva Singaṇṇa-sāhaṇi.

The inscription is dated Śaka 12[46], Raktākshi, the other details being lost. The year corresponds to 1324-25 A.D.

1 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀಮತು ಪಾಂಡ್ಯಚಕ್ರವರ್ತ್ತಿ ಅರಿರಾಯ ಬಸವಸಂಖರ

2 ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರ ಸೋಯಿದೇ[ವಾಳು]ಪೇಂದ್ರ ದೇವರಸರು ವಿಜಯರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುತ್ತ-

3 ರೋತ್ತರಾಭಿವ್ರಿದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರವರ್ದ್ಧಮಾನ ಮಾಚಂದ್ರಾರ್ಕ್ಕತಾರಂಬರಂ ಸಲುತ್ತಿರ್ದ್ದು ಸ-

4 ಕವರುಷ 1246 . . [ರ]ಕ್ತಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸಂ . . . . .
