MŪḌA-NIḌAMBŪRU, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in the prākāra of the Mahāliṅgēśvara temple at Bannañje,
a suburb

Sōidēva, 1327 A.D.

The record is dated the cyclic year Prabhava, Āshāḍha ba, 3, Karkāṭaka 9, Tuesday falling in the reign of the king Sōidēva. The details correspond to 1327 A.D., July 7, Tuesday, f.d.t. .15.

It registers a gift of forest-land at Baṁniṁje and money to god Tāḍeguḍeyadēva by the king, mahāpradhāna Siṁgaṇṇa, sāhaṇi Boppaṇṇa adhikari Nāḍapana Koṁḍakala-nāyaka and the ūr.
