HANDĀḌI, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in a field called ‘Govindaseṭṭi-gadde’.

[Kulaśēkhara II], 1338-39 A.D.

This damaged record is dated Śaka 1261 Bahudhānya, other details being lost. The year corresponds to 1338-39 A.D., the Śaka year being current.

It registers a gift of 24 mūḍe of land situated in Brahmūru and Haṅdāḍi, to god Sōmanāthā-dēvarasa.
