10 . . ಆಚಂದ್ರಾರ್ಕ್ಕಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡಸಿಕೊಡುವರು

11 ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯೋಯಂ ಧರ್ಮಸೇತುರ್ನರಾಣಾಂ ಕಾಲೇ ಕಾಲೇ ಪಾಲ –

12 ನೀಯೋಭವದ್ಭಿ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾಂನೇತಾನ್ [ಭಾ]ವಿನ ಪಾರ್ತ್ಥಿವೇಂದ್ರಾನ್ ಭೂ -

13 ಯೋ ಭೂಯೋ ಯಾಚತೇ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ | ಶ್ರೀ ಯೀ ಧರ್ಮ್ಮವನೂ

MĒḶAḌUPU, (hamlet of Ārūr), UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in the field of Māle Gōvindayya

Kikkāyi-Tāyi and Kulaśēkhara, 1344 A.D.

The badly damaged record refers itself to the reign of Kikkāyi Tāyi and her son Kulaśēkharadēva and registers gifts of lands which were exempted from certain taxes like vosage and samudāya to Kōṭisara-adhikāri by Vīra[nātha]dēvarasa.

The record is dated Śaka 1265, Tāraṇa Paushya śu. 1, Dhanus 9, Monday corresponding to 1344 A.D., December 6. The tithi Dhanus 9 is a mistake for Dhanus 10 and the Śaka year is wrong for 1266.

1 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ[ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರ]ಸ್ತುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ [|*] ತ್ರೈಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾ-

2 ರಂಭ [ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂ]ಭಾಯ ಸಂಭವೇ || ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀಮತ್ಪಾಂಡ್ಯ ಚ-
