KUMRUGŌḌU, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in the prākāra of the Śankaranārāyaṇa temple

Kulaśekhara, 1345 A.D.

The record is dated Śaka 1267, Pārthiva, Āśvayuja śu. 10, Tulā[7], Thursday corresponding to 1345 A.D., October 6.

It registers a gift of land in Brahmapura and Kuṁmarakōḍa as sarvamānya to Nāraṇa-nāyaka and others by the king in the presence of the ministers while he was holding assembly in his palace (hiryaramane) at Bārakūru.

1 ಶ್ರೀ ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಕವರುಷ 1267 ನೆಯ ಪಾರ್ತ್ಥಿ[ವ ಸಂವತ್ಸ] –

2 ರದ ಆಶ್ವಯುಜ ಶುದ್ಧ 10 ತುಲಾಮಾಸ [7] ನೆಯ ಗು

3 ವಾರದಿನ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತ್ಪಾಂಡ್ಯ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಅರಿರಾ-

4 ಯ ಬಸವ ಸಂಕರ ರಾಯಗಜಾಂಕುಸ ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರಕುಲಸೇ-

5 ಕರದೇವಾಳ್ಪೇಂದ್ರ ದೇವರ್ಸರವ ವಿಜೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಂಗೆಯು

6 ವುತಮಿರಲು ಬಾರಕೂರ ಹಿರಿಯಮನೆಯಲಿರೆ

7 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ನಾರಣನಾಯ್ಕರೂ ಮುಂತಾ[ದ]
