21 ಬಾಳು ಯೀ ಬಾಳಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರತಿವರುಷ 1 ಕೂ ನಡವ [ಗೇ]-

22 ಣಿ ಯಕ್ಕಿ ನಾಗಂ ಮು 6 ಹಾ 20 ಅಕ್ಷಾರದಲು ಅಱುಮು-

23 ಡೆ ಯಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಹಾನೆ ಯೀ ಬಾಳಿಕೆಯ . . ಬಸಗೆಯ ತೆತ್ತು

24 ಕ್ರುಷ್ಣಹಾತ್ರನು ತಂಮ ಸಂತಾನ ಸಂತಾನ ಕಾಲ ತಪದೆ ಯೀ ಬಾ-

25 ಳಿಕೆಯ ಬಿತಿಗೇಣಿ ಯಕ್ಕಿಯ ನಡಸಿ ಬಹನು ಒಂದು ಕಾ-

26 ಲದ ಗೇಣಿಯಕ್ಕಿ ಪುತ್ರನ ಕಯ್ಯಲಿ ಸಿಕಿದರೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯ . . . .

27 ಕೆಯದ ಬೆಸಿ ಹೋಹನೆಂದು ಬರಸಿದ ಶಿಲಾಸಾಸಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಳಹ-

28 ರ ಬೆಂಮಣಂಚರ ಒಪ್ಪ ಸೇನಬೋವ . . . . .

KUDI, (No. 34) UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up near the temple of Chapparamaṭha Gopalakrishṇadeva

1414-45 A.D.

This record registers a gift of land by Kōṭiyaṇṇa of Hāruḷahaḷḷi, nephew (aḷiya) of [Chammu]-Bhaṇḍārināyaka for feeding brāḥmaṇas on certain occasions, probably in a maṭha. The gift land appears to have been purchased by the donor. It refers to Bemmaṇa [Kuva]ri Toḷaha who appears to have been in charge of the area, enjoying it as Kumāravṛitti.

It is dated Śaka 13[3]6, Jaya, Mēsha, other details of date not being give. It corresponds to 1414-15 A.D.

1 ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಾಧಿಪತಎ ನಮಃ[|*] ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ

2 ತ್ರೈಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ | ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಾಭ್ಯುದಯ
