BAILŪR, (NEAR BADAGABEṬTU). CONNDAPOOR TALUK,
SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in the prākāra of Mahishāsuramardini temple

Vīra-Ballāḷa III, 1336 A.D.

This record registers a gift of income from taxes like samudāya, beḍuṅgōḷu, vosage and anāya accrued from Bayilūru to Vāsudēva- mūḍala, by the chief queen Kikkāyi-Tāyi, in the presence of Mahāpradhāna vaijappa-daṇṇāyaka and the Nakharas and Haṁjamāna of Bārakūru.

The record is dated Śaka 1257, Yuva, Mīna 23, Friday. The tithi corresponded to 1226 A.D., March 17, when the weekday, however, was Sunday.
